1) Which One Doesn't Belong? is 2017 Mathical Book Prize winner
Which One Doesn't Belong? Congratulations to Christopher Danielson, whose book Which One Doesn't Belong? won the 2017 Mathical Book Prize. The award was presented to Christopher last weekend by the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (MSRI) at the National Math Festival in Washington, D.C.

"For a number of years, I have longed for a better shapes book," said Danielson. "I wanted a shapes book that gives space for noticing relationships, asking questions, and thinking together. I designed Which One Doesn't Belong? to be an invitation to a mathematical conversation."
